CARTHAMUS WS-P is a dark yellow powdered natural flavoring preparation produced by an aqueous extraction and subsequent drying of carthamus (Carthamus tinctorius L.). The preparation contains flavorings, pigments and other ingredients from the plant. The Carthamus yellow colour is derived from safflower, offering a stable alternative to lutein colours which can show signs of 'ringing' in beverages. Uses in confectionery, Bakery wares, Salts, spices, soups, sauces, salads and protein products.
