SETALUX 1152 SS-51 LC

SETALUX 1152 SS-51 LC is in combination with aliphatic poly-isocyanates: easy application, even under conditions of high humidity and low temperatures. High build and practically no yellowing under UV light, excellent exterior durability, good mechanical properties and chemical resistance. It is used in varnishes and clearcoats for drying at room temperature and also between 60ºC and 80ºC.

SETAL AF 681 TB

SETAL AF 681 TB is in the formulation of decorative paints with excellent through-drying and good yellowing resistance. Also for flow coatings, DIY paints and air-drying coatings. General Setal A F 681 TB is a low-viscosity long-oil alkyd resin which is ideal for use in the formulation of DIY and decorative paints with excellent through-drying, a dust-free drying time of approx. 3.5 hours and a tack-free drying time of approx. 6 hours. Because of the relatively high acid value of Setal A F 681 TB, the following driers should be used: 0.04 % cobalt 6, 1.20 % zirconium 18 and 0.20 % calcium 4. The metal content is always calculated on the solvent-free resin. The use of these driers ensures good drying stability, even after prolonged storage. The addition of an anti-skinning agent is recommended. Aliphatic hydrocarbons are used to thin Setal A F 681 TBA. Higher boiling fractions are particularly suitable for adjusting the brushing viscosity. Standard pigments can be used to colour the formulations. The compatibility with alkaline pigments must always be tested in each individual case.
