VINK CHEMICALS

Vink Chemicals – A Team with Our Customers

Vink Chemicals GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned, medium-sized company based in Kakenstorf, Lower Saxony (approx. 40 km south of Hamburg). Our more than 100 employees are specialists in technical preservation and chemical additives and are responsible globally for production facilities, sales and raw material purchasing, as well as product development and quality control in our own laboratories.

We develop products and services for industrial applications that are used worldwide. Their use prevents the microbiological degradation of many well-known everyday products. This saves resources and extends shelf life. Our product lines are Technical Biocides, Oilfield & Fuel Treatment, Specialty Chemicals, System Cleaning as well as a product range of Consumer Chemicals.

The history of Vink Chemicals began back in 1980, when the trading company Vink + Co. started trading chemicals, sourcing and distributing active ingredients and formulations. In 2008, the experienced team of experts formulated the first quantities of chemical additives, first in toll manufacturing, then in in-house production to directly serve special customer requirements. The first proprietary product formulations were also developed to target open market niches. In 2011, VINK CHEMICALS GmbH & Co. KG was founded, which launched operations at its production facility in Kakenstorf the following year. A wide variety of batch sizes can be produced and filled there according to customer specifications. In 2019, production capacities were nearly doubled through the acquisition of another production site in Memmingen (Bavaria) in southern Germany. In addition, the technical preservation business of Schuelke & Mayr was acquired in 2019, thereby optimizing the long-term product portfolio.
