CAB-381-0.5 CELLULOSE ACETATE BUTYRAT is a cellulose ester with medium butyryl content and low viscosity, designed for applications requiring low viscosity at relatively high solids. It is soluble in many solvents, compatible with various resins, and can be used with certain solvent blends exempt from specific air pollution regulations. Supplied as a dry, free-flowing powder, it is mainly used in automotive OEM paint, automotive and plastic coatings, tin coatings, motorcycle coatings, nail polish, inks, and truck/bus/commercial vehicle coatings.
