Chemlok® 233X is used to affix a wide variety of unvulcanized rubber compounds to primed metals and other rigid substrates. Chemlok 233X also affixes treated textiles to rubber during vulcanization. It is composed of a mixture of polymers, organic compounds and fillers dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent system.

Chemlok EP5080-11 primer may also be used as a one-coat adhesive to bond nitrile elastomers to metal.
