LUTENE® LB7000 (LDPE)

MED-C from LG Chem Ltd. is a yellow to brown liquid pro-vitamin C ether with an average molecular weight of 508 g/mol. It is highly soluble in water and various organic solvents, stable under heat and acidic conditions, and exhibits strong antioxidant properties. MED-C is used as an antimicrobial and antioxidant in food products, especially poultry and fish, and requires storage in a dry, cool place away from light and heat sources.
