ISTRA 40

ISTRA 40 is a normal setting, rapid hardening Cal-cium Aluminate Cement (CAC) with high early strength. It differs substantially from the usual calci-um silicate cements (Portland cements) in its manufacturing process, chemical composition and rapid strength gain. ISTRA 40 is composed of calcium aluminates with the following characteristics: • high early strength • refractoriness • high abrasion resistance • resistance to biogenic sulphuric acid corrosion (BSAC)

LUMNITE® MG 4

LUMNITE® MG4 is a fused, low purity calcium aluminate (CA) cement designed to contribute special properties in materials for the building chemistry, corrosion resistance, and related applications. It can be used as a stand-alone cement, or as a component in specialized hydraulic binder systems. LUMNITE® MG4 is optimized to respond especially well to a wide variety of additives and admixtures. It has the following properties: • High early strength • High abrasion resistance • Resistance to biogenic sulfuric acid corrosion and other forms of chemical attack
