BURGESS NO. 40 is a median particle size, medium brightness hydrous kaolin clay used in trade sales coatings and adhesives. BURGESS NO. 40 is an acid pH clay exhibiting excellent dispersion properties.

BURGESS 2211 has been specifically developed for use in mineral filled nylon applications. Burgess 2211, amino silane treated Icecap K, offers dramatic advantages in physical properties compared to untreated fillers. Low warpage and high impact strengths are key advantages.

BURGESS NO. 98 is an ultra fine particle size, higher brightness hydrous kaolin clay that exhibits excellent tint strength and dispersion. BURGESS NO. 98 is a well ground, premium extender of TiO2 in water based, solvent or alkyd semigloss, satin, and gloss paints.

BURGESS OPTIWHITE P® is a flash calcined clay used extensively to extend TiO2 in flat interior trade sales paints which do not require maximum whiteness. Burgess OPTIWHITE P exhibits good GE Brightness, improves touchup, scrub, and burnish resistance. BURGESS OPTIWHITE P® exhibits excellent opacity and flattening and a slightly off-white color. Burgess OPTIWHITE P lowers raw material cost while maintaining opacity.

BURGESS ICEBERG® is a conventionally calcined median particle size 91-93 GE Brightness clay used as an extender of TiO2 in trade sales interior/exterior flat paints, filler/extender in flexible PVC having aesthetics rather than electrical requirements, EPDM wire and cable insulation compound, pharmaceutical rubber, and filler in polyurethane sealants. BURGESS ICEBERG® has several advantages: better touchup; better opacity; higher degree of whiteness; better tint strength; easy dispersion and very low moisture levels in a moisture sensitive application; replacement of more costly carbon black.

BURGESS NO. 25 is a fine particle size, high brightness, hydrous kaolin clay exhibiting superior dispersion in water or solvent based satin, semigloss, and gloss coating applications. BURGESS NO. 25 may be used in trade sales or industrial areas as well as a variety of ink applications.
