SYNTHALEN W2000 is an anionic acrylic copolymer supplied as a low viscosity emulsion. Its water dispersions are characterized by high viscosity and clarity, and by an improved rheology, unusual in polymers that work with associative mechanism. Therefore it is suitable for formulating clear gels as well as for stabilizing oil-in-water emulsions.

Its water dispersions, when neutralized, are characterized by medium viscosity, high yield value and clarity in a large range of pHs and temperatures. In water, the polymer starts to swell at pH 6. In the presence of other components such as surfactants, the viscosity builds up at lower pHs. Its immediate dispersion, clarity, and good compatibility with surfactants make SYNTHALEN® W800 the ideal polymer for the formulation of surfactant systems, especially when a high suspending ability is required. The applications for this thickening agent and suspending agent are endless; we recommend it for hair care, soap & bath, sun care & skin care.

Uvasorb® S34 is indicated for the UV stabilization of a broad range of polymers. Uvasorb® S34 protects polymers, dyes and pigments from UV radiation as well as the original appearance and physical properties of the article.

UVASORB® HA88 FD is particularly efficient in thin layer applications such as fibers, films, tapes and coatings, calling for minimal migration and low volatility. UVASORB® HA88 FD is also used in automotive, drums, bottles, crates, sheets, toys, marine and garden furniture applications.The performance of UVASORB® HA88 FD may beimpaired by substances containing halogens and sulfur (pesticides, flame retardants, some stabilizers, etc.).

UVASORB® HA19 is particularly efficient in thin layer applications such as PA, PET and PP fibers, films, and coatings, calling for minimal migration and low volatility. The enhancing of color yield in pigmented PP articles makes the product particularly recommended in PP fibers. UVASORB® HA19 is also recommended as an outstanding long-term thermal stabilizer in filled PP thick sections, containing carbon black, typical of automotive applications; its use allows to avoid the use of sulfur based costabilizers when the odor is not desired.

UVASORB® ET is an effective UV-B sunscreen with an absorptivity of >1500 at 314 nm. In sun-care products, thanks to its high specific extinction, it is used in combination with other UV-filters to achieve a high SPF value. Concentrations up to 5% are recommended.
