SETALUX D A 870 BA is mainly used in combination with Desmodur N to formulate two-component polyurethane coatings with good light stability, chalking resistance and gloss retention, particularly suitable for automotive coatings. It is mainly used in combination with Desmodur N 75, N 3390 and N 3600 for air- and forced-drying automotive refinish and industrial coatings. The cured paint films are hard, tough but flexible, glossy and high-bodied with excellent weather stability and lightfastness and good resistance to solvents and petrol.

SETATHANE D 1150 is applied in the formulation of tough-elastic coatings. It is used in combination with other polyols such as SETATHANE D 1145, 1155 and crosslinked with Desmodur® VL, SETATHANE D 1150 is suitable for use in the formulation of two-component coatings. These are mainly used on concrete and asphalt floors and steel surfaces. After crosslinking and curing of SETATHANE D 1150 with Desmodur VL, the resultant coatings are tough and flexible, hard-wearing and hemicalresistant. It can also be combinedwith Desmodur L to formulate highly resistant sealing compounds.

SETALUX 8403 SS-55 is used in combination with an epoxy-functional acrylic resin : fast drying, high gloss, good mechanical properties and excellent outdoor durability.It is used as industrial paints and repair systems. Finishes for plastics. Industrial stoving systems.
