DUROXYN EF 900/60X is a superior adhesion, hardness and flexibility. High pigment loading, radiant gloss. Excellent resistance to temperature, water and alkali. Anticorrosive paint systems and primers. Zinc dust paints. DUROXYN EF 900/60X can be used as sole binder for air-drying and stoving paints or in conjunction with amine resins, for stoving primers and finishes. Air-drying paints Paints on Duroxyn EF 900 are tackfree within short time and have good through drying in normal film thickness. The films show good flexibility combined with excellent hardness and excellent adhesion, also to non-ferrous metals. Further advantages are resistance to water and diluted alkali. Duroxyn EF 900 is therefore excellently suited for paints, resistant to tropical climate, interior paints, zinc dust paints, and primer-surfacers. Stoving paints Duroxyn EF 900 can be used in the formulation of high quality stoving paints, either alone or in conjunction with low levels of amino resins, preferably melamine resins. The films afford top performance in terms of flexibility, hardness, impact resistance, adhesion to steel and non-ferrous metals, radiant brilliance high build and resistance to water and alkali. Such paints give primers and finishes which are resistant to tropical climate, or primers and fillers for e.g. the vehicle industry, with resistance to water and corrosion. The excellent adhesion and mechanical properties afford impact resistant enamels, e.g. primers-surfacers.

Beckopox EH 623W/80WA is a hardener for water-reducible coatings on mineral and metallic substrates, hydryaulic epoxy mortars (ECC). Beckopox EH 623W/80WA is used in combination with the water emulsifiable liquid resins Beckopox EP 122w, EP 147w and other liquid resins such as Beckopox EP 140, EP 116 and the solid resin dispersions Beckopox EP 384w and EP 385w (preferably in combination with liquid EP-resins) to produce water-thinnable paints hardening at room temperature with good adhesion to all mineral substrates.Drying at elevated temperatures (> 60 °C) should be avoided. At such conditions traces of acrylonitrile will be released. If the hardener is diluted with water there may be stability problems at solid concentrations of less than 20 %, especially at storage temperatures above 35°C. When pigments and fillers are being dispersed in the hardener, the temperature must not be allowed to rise above 40°C. These paints retain a constant gloss irrespective of thinning ratio or the time between mixing and the end of the pot life. Beckopox EH 623w may be used in combination with Beckopox EP 128 as an additive for hydraulic mortars, the mechanical properties of the cured system being considerably enhanced by the additive.

BECKOPOX EP 387W/52WA is an internally plasticized solid resin-Type 1-dispersion with improved shear stability, e. g. for water reducible fast drying anticorrosion primers and coatings for plastics.BECKOPOX EP 387W/52WA is an internally plasticized type 1solid epoxy resin as aqueous dispersion. Formulated together with adequate curing agents such as e. g. Beckopox VEH 2188w/55WA it is suited for corrosion protection primers with very good adhesion to most metallic substrates. It is also suitable for use in single coat and decorative systems for metallic substrates. For optimium corrosion protection it is recommended using 75 % of the stoichiometric curing agent quantity. Dispersion of pigments and fillers can be done in Beckopox EP 387w/52WA if the temperature does not exceed 40 °C. The formulated paint stability can be influenced by the additives used so that it is important to investigate their suitability thoroughly, such additves should not contain functional groups capable of reacting with epoxy groups.

BECKOPOX EP 384W/53WAMP is a solid resin-Type 1-dispersion, even in combination with water-emulsifiable liquid resins for fast drying coatings, preferably for mineral substrates. BECKOPOX EP 384W/53WAMP is a type 1 solid epoxy resin as aqueous dispersion. Formulated together with suitable curing agents such as Beckopox EH 623w, EH 659w or VEH 2177w it results in rapid drying coating systems for mineral substrates. The rapid drying property makes it possible to apply more coats within one working day. Dispersing of pigments and fillers can be carried out often in Beckopox EP 384w/53WAMP if the temperature does not exceed 40°C. The formulated paint stability can be influenced by additives, the additives should not contain functional groups capable of reacting with epoxy groups.
