BECKOPOX® EM 2120W/45WA is an epoxy-amine-adduct dispersion in water, containing very small amounts of organic co-solvent. BECKOPOX® EM 2120W is suited to formulate water borne 1 pack anticorrosive primers and 1 pack single coats with good anticorrosive properties, especially on smooth steel. Due to the special character of BECKOPOX® EM 2120W, very fast drying coatings can be formulated. Pigments and extenders should be dispersed in a pigment paste since BECKOPOX® EM 2120W does not possess sufficient shear stability. Organic solvents in the formulation should be added to the pigment paste or should be diluted with water before adding to EM 2120.

ADDITOL XW 395 Enhances surface properties of the films and prevents film defects like insufficient wetting and structured surfaces owing to impurities. ADDITOL XW 395 is an additive specially designed for Resydrol paint systems and, compatibility provided, for other waterborne paint systems. Considering the levels and restrictions given below ADDITOL XW 395 can be used in any water dilutable paint with the exception of electrodeposition paints. ADDITOL XW 395 prevents film defects, such as craters and pin holes or can remedy poor wetting owing to impurities brought into the aqueous paint during preperation or processing. Insufficiently degreased metal is the main cause for such troubles. With ADDITOL XW 395 wetting problems are avoided. It should be noted that film defects arising from silicone oils in many cases cannot be prevented with ADDITOL XW 395. ADDITOL XW 395 prevents floating of pigments, striation, orange peel, etc. and improves the film surface in general. ADDITOL XW 395 at the recommended levels, does not impair the physical properties of the stoved film. In primers ADDITOL XW 395 may cause a certain degree of gloss. Additions of ADDITOL XW 395 may adversely influence the effect of antifoaming agents, on the other hand, it can remedy infavourable effects of the antifoams. In aqueous paints for spray application ADDITOL XW 395 can be used without precautions, while in dipping or flow coating paints ADDITOL XW 395 must be carefully balanced with the antifoams normally present.

BECKOPOX EP 386W/52WA is an internally plasticized solid resin-Type 1-dispersion with improved shear stability, e. g. for water reducible fast drying anticorrosion primers and coatings for plastics. BECKOPOX EP 386W/52WA is an internally plasticized type 1solid epoxy resin as aqueous dispersion. Formulated together with adequate curing agents such as e. g. Beckopox EH 613w or VEH 2188w it is suited for corrosion protection primers with very good adhesion to most metallic substrates. It is also suitable for use in single coat and decorative systems for metallic substrates. For optimium corrosion protection it is recommended using 80 % of the stoichiometric curing agent not contain functional groups capable of reacting with epoxy groups.

ADDITOL XW 6555 meet legislation & regulation requirements and is a ready to use combination drier designed to have excellent compatibility and fast incorporation in all waterborne and solvent borne alkyd paints. The balanced non-hazardous metal combination results in very good through drying performances combined with good surface drying. ADDITOL XW 6555 can be used as drier for all water?dilutable, solvent borne and high solid oxidative drying alkyd resins.
