LITHENE™ ULTRA N4-9000 is a viscous, narrow molecular weight liquid polybutadiene with a low content of 1,2 vinyl microstructure. It is characterized by extremely low odor and volatiles and is primarily used as a polyurethane additive to enhance abrasion resistance. Typical applications include automotive sound damping sealants and adhesives, as well as dry sand binders.

It is characterized by very low odor and volatiles, making it suitable for specialized applications such as soft, isocyanate-free electrical encapsulants and rubber-to-metal bonding.
