SETAQUA 6160 is an acrylic polyol emulsion is developed for waterborne solid colour topcoat (1 coat - 1 bake) and is used in combination with partly methylated melamine resins. SETAQUA 6160 gives high gloss coatings having excellent chemical resistance and durability. It is used as waterborne solid colour topcoat.

SETAQUA B B 130

SETAQUA B B 130 is applied as a binder for aqueous air- and force-drying coatings, especially primers, onecoat matt finishes and adhesion primers (also suitable for non-ferrous metals). SETAQUA B B 130 has been developed for the formulation of fast-drying industrial anti-corrosion primers and one-coat finishes. The films are characterized by good anti-corrosion properties, water resistance and adhesion on non-ferrous metals and various plastic surfaces. However, they are not weather stable or resistant to yellowing. We recommend the use of water-emulsifiable driers. The drier must be added before the pigment. It is stirred into the binder in a dissolver. SETAQUA B B 130 has good shear stability, therefore pigments can be ground directly into the binder. The grinding temperature should not exceed 40 ÂºC. The coatings can be applied using conventional spraying techniques and by dipping and flow coating.

SETAQUA 8550

SETAQUA 8550 is applied in combination with Setaqua 8455: an easy mixable and fast drying two-pack waterborne isocyanate-free system. It is used as industrial two-pack waterborne varnishes and topcoats for drying at room temperatures as well as drying at elevated temperatures. Waterborne two-pack isocyanate-free systems with a low co-solvent level.
