ADDITOL VXL 4992 improves the pigment wetting, Shortens the dispersion time, Reduces the viscosity, Enables the increase of the pigment and filler concentration, Improves the air release, Better levelling and flow properties of the ready product. ADDITOL VXL 4992 serves as wetting and dispersing agent in high-body UP knifing fillers and glass fibre reinforced pigmented polyesters. A change in the storage stability and processing was not determined in the systems.

ADDITOL XW 376 can be used in most waterborne emulsion paints and adhesives, and in synthetic resin-bound renderings. Good storage stability even at elevated temperatures. ADDITOL XW 376 is effective in large to fine particle size dispersions based on polyvinyl acetate, PVC, acrylates and their copolymers as well as alkyd resin emulsions. It is easily emulsified and also incorporated in low viscosity systems. ADDITOL XW 376 is equally useful in deaeration during pigment grinding and in the filling process. It is shear stable and alkali resistant up to pH = 13.

ADDITOL XL 6568 is used for the formulation of stripping enamels, release agents and temporary corrosion protection. ADDITOL XL 6568 is added to stripping enamels as anti adhesion promotor. Coatings of this nature give temporary protection against mechanical attack and corrosion to various substrates. Such coatings can easily be pealed off later. ADDITOL XL 6568 can be used in solvent based as well as in aqueous systems. Suitable binders for solvent based systems are the Hostaflex grades CM 150 and CM 133 as well as the Mowital grades B30HH and B60H. To formulate aqueous systems, acrylic dispersions like Ucecryl B 3022 are recommended. While solvent based release coatings can easily be removed from metallic substrates aqueous systems based on styrene acrylate dispersions can also be removed from glass, pottery, wood and plastics. For formulating systems with high film strength aqueous systems are more suitable than solvent based systems.

MODAFLOW 2100 is a flow modifier developed for high performance polyester and acrylic based, high solids and UV liquid coating applications. Modaflow 2100 contains no silicone ingredients. The addition of Modaflow 2100 will help: improve flow and levelling, reduce pinholes, fisheyes, craters, and orange peel, improve substrate wetting, aid in air release, facilitate pigment dispersion, quantity to be added: 0.1 - 1.0 % on solid resin.
