SETATHANE D 1156 is used as a reactive diluent in combination with e.g SETATHANE D 1145, SETATHANE D 1150 and SETATHANE D 1160 in the formulation of 2-pack PU formulations and coatings to modify physical and mechanical properties.Generally speaking, SETATHANE D 1156 has good compatibility with the solvents listed. However,the solutions formed have to be tested for their storage stability.SETATHANE D 1156 can be thinned with esters, ketones,ether esters and aromatic hydrocarbons.Prolonged storage of a solution with low binder content may result in turbidity and sedimentation. Only PUR grade solvents should be used (< 0.05 % water).The solvent should not contain reactive groups.Because of its low viscosity, SETATHANE D 1156 is especially suitable in combination with SETATHANE D 1145,D 1150 and D 1160 in the formulation of solvent-free,self-leveling polyurethane coatings of low viscosity.

ROSKYDAL K 65 is a binder for highly filled, coarse and fine knifing fillers for use on metal, wood and mineral substrates. Fillers based on ROSKYDAL K 65 cure fully when applied in both thin and thick coats. They can be made harder by the addition of, for example, ROSKYDAL K 14 M or ROSKYDAL K 36. Formulation Combinations of talc, dolomite/calcite and baryteswith lowiron content have proved suitable as extenders, with talc as the main component because it improves the adhesion to the substrate.

ROSKYDAL K 60 is a binder for highly filled, coarse and fine knifing fillers with long potlife. ROSKYDAL K 60 enables formulation of fillers with long potlife of 30-45 min. using the standard hardener Di-Benzoylperoxide. ROSKYDAL K 60 is also suitable for fillers with overbaking resistance at temperatures up to 170°C. Fillers based on ROSKYDAL K 60 cure fully when applied in both thin and thick coats.They can be made harder by the addition of e.g. ROSKYDAL K 14 M or ROSKYDAL K 36. Formulation Talc, dolomite/calcite and powdered barytes with low iron content have proven suitable as extenders, with talc as the main component because it improves the adhesion to the substrate. Only coarse and blended talcs should be used to formulate fillers with overbaking resistance up to 170°C.

ROSKYDAL E 70 is a flexibilising resin for wax-free polyesters, UV-curing styrene systems and spray, roller and knifing fillers. Even in a ratio of 6 : 4, clear or pigmented combinations of ROSKYDAL 500 A and ROSKYDAL E 70 have excellent scratch resistance and gloss. This mixing ratio yields highly flexible coatings and improves the polishability of films based on ROSKYDAL 500 A. ROSKYDAL E 70 is also suitable for use as a flexibilizer in photo-polymerizing ROSKYDAL systems and in clear coats, roller primers and highly filled roller fillers based on ROSKYDAL 300/1. ROSKYDAL E 70 is a highly effective flexibilizer. The systems to which it is added are easier to sand because they abrade more readily. Adding larger amounts of ROSKYDAL E 70 to spray fillers based on wax-free polyesters such as ROSKYDAL 500 A or 620 yields excellent adhesion on medium-density fiberboard, metal car body components and some plastics. ROSKYDAL E 70 can also be used to flexibilize amine-accelerated grades such as ROSKYDAL K 14 M, K 36 and K 40 T.
