SETATHANE D 1156 is used as a reactive diluent in combination with e.g SETATHANE D 1145, SETATHANE D 1150 and SETATHANE D 1160 in the formulation of 2-pack PU formulations and coatings to modify physical and mechanical properties.Generally speaking, SETATHANE D 1156 has good compatibility with the solvents listed. However,the solutions formed have to be tested for their storage stability.SETATHANE D 1156 can be thinned with esters, ketones,ether esters and aromatic hydrocarbons.Prolonged storage of a solution with low binder content may result in turbidity and sedimentation. Only PUR grade solvents should be used (< 0.05 % water).The solvent should not contain reactive groups.Because of its low viscosity, SETATHANE D 1156 is especially suitable in combination with SETATHANE D 1145,D 1150 and D 1160 in the formulation of solvent-free,self-leveling polyurethane coatings of low viscosity.

DYNAPOL® LH 775-52 polyester resins are mainly used for stoving enamels in combination with amino resins. DYNAPOL® LH 775 is also used as binder or co-binder, in many kinds of flexible packaging applications like pre-printing primers, printing inks or as a component for heatseal lacquers. Suitable applications include metal decorating enamels, tube- and aerosol can coatings.

DYNAPOL® L 411 is saturated, high molecular, linear copolyester with very good adhesion to metals. Stoving enamels based on L 411 and amino resins or blocked polyisocyanate resins are very flexible and show very good adhesion to metals.

DUROFTAL® VPI 2803/78BAC is a hydroxy functional polyester and is cross-linkable with polyisocyanates for the production of ultra high solids lacquers.
