CALCIUM STEARATE

CALCIUM STEARATE is used in pharmaceuticals and personal care products as a gelling and antitacking agent. In addition, calcium stearate often serves as a tablet mold release agent (tablet manufacturing). It is primary used as a lubricant in tablet and capsule manufacture at concentrations up to 1.0% w/w.
