Excipients

SYLOID® 244 FP meets the requirements of the monograph for silicon dioxide as stated in the latest USP/NF and Japanese Pharmaceutical Excipients(JPE) editions. The use of fumed silica as an excipient ingredient for pharmaceutical formulations, particularly in tablets and as a carrier for liquids is well known. However, compared with fumed silica, SYLOID® 244 FP silica is larger in particle size and has a higher density. This translates into a product that is much less dusty than fumed and is easier to handle and to incorporate into your formulation.

Erythritol 30-60 MESH is a natural polyol sweetener, about 60 – 80% as sweet as sucrose (sugar). Erythritol is used in solid dosage forms (tablets, coating agent, lozenges, as a diluent in wet granulation), in liquid dosage forms, medicated confectionery, medicated chewing gum in pharmaceutical.

DRUGCOAT RS 100 is a film forming agent for sustained release coating of oral solid dosage forms.  It also can be used as a binder for granulation to achieve sustained or time controlled release.
