Lallemand Bio-Ingredients Bio-Engevita® Toasted Powder is light beige organic inactive yeast. It has a mild savory toasted taste and is specially grown and processed from primary yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). The yeast is roller dried and ground to provide a consistent homogeneous powder. Bio-Engevita® Toasted Powder is certified organic and produced in accordance with EU regulations for manufacturing organic yeast (which is regarded as equivalent to produce under USDA NOP as of 1 June 2012).
