DEGAROUTE 456 is a methacrylate resin designed for durable cold plastic road markings. It is a low viscosity methacrylate resin used as a binder for permanent markings based on cold plastic. The resin is permanently elastic, processed without plasticizers, and has a mild smell. The viscosity of the ready formulated material remains stable over a long period, making it versatile for use in flat line and structure markings. The recommended surface temperature for application ranges from 5 °C to 60 °C, but it can be applied at temperatures below 5 °C with the addition of Accelerator 50. The resin has good wetting properties for fillers and pigments, allowing the production of fluid cold plastics suitable for use in both cold and warm climates. It is ideal for markings at junctions, crossings, stop lines, direction arrows, and center markings on freeways and highways, and can be manually applied using a trowel and draw box.
