Isobornyl acrylate (IBOA) is a monofunctional reactive diluent that polymerizes when exposed to sources of free radicals. The bicyclic structure of IBOA gives rise to polymers of increased Tg, while its monofunctionality minimizes crosslinking to provide coatings and inks with good hardness and resiliency combined with flexibility and impact resistance.

Trimethylolpropane ethoxy triacrylate (TMPEOTA) is a reactive diluent commonly used in ultraviolet light (UV) and electron beam (EB) energy curable coatings and inks. TMPEOTA can be used to impart crosslinking to energy curable coatings and inks while maintaining a degree of flexibility and toughness. Of the common triacrylate diluents used in energy curable formulations, TMPEOTA exhibits the highest reactivity and the greatest viscosity reduction of oligomers.

Epotec RD 113 is a low viscosity trifunctional epoxy reactive diluent based on trimethylol propane. Being trifunctional epotec RD 113 provides excellent cross link density in the cured mass. The higher cross link density helps in improving the chemical resistance of the formulations based on conventional bis-A epoxy resins. Epotec RD 113 also has minimum effect on the HDT and glass transition temperature of the cured mass.
