SYLYSIA® 390 is a synthetically produced, amorphous, and micronized silica gel known for its high porosity and chemical purity. Produced by Fuji Silysia Chemical in Greenville, NC, it is designed to be a highly efficient matting agent that reduces gloss in coatings while producing uniform films. It offers superior anti-blocking performance during plastic film and sheeting manufacturing, as well as in high-speed printing. SYLYSIA enhances adhesion and thickening in adhesive applications, stabilizing viscosity for longer shelf life. It also improves inkjet performance and serves as an anti-blocking agent in various types of paper.
