ZINC STEARATE

ZINC STEARATE BPis used to prevent moisture in pharmaceutical products. As a water-repellent, a protective agent used in powders and ointments in the treatment of eczema, acne, and other skin diseases; Zinc stearate has antiseptic, astringent and topical protective properties. It is used as an alternative lubricant if Magnesium and Calcium Stearate are incompatible with the API.
