Bakutrol® is a proprietary cosmetic active clinically proven to visibly reduce acne blemishes, particularly those associated with inflammatory acne. It is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent that also acts as an anti-acne solution. Its key ingredient, bakuchiol (not less than 60%), has been shown to inhibit acne-causing bacteria and block COX/LOX inflammatory pathways. Cosphaderm® Hexiol natural is a pure, transparent, colourless and odourless diol of natural origin. Two vicinal OH-groups and a short carbon chain allow unlimited water-solubility. This property is strongly relevant to its most common cosmetic use as a moisturizer and humectant for both skin and hair care formulations. Static light scattering experiments have shown that Cosphaderm Hexiol natural can also be used to stabilize o/w emulsions by droplet size reduction.

Cosphaderm® GeMix is a multifunctional blend of glyceryl caprylate and glyceryl undecylenate. Produced from natural sources, it is a biodegradable blend with emollient, emulsifying, moisturizing, skin and hair conditioning as well as re-fatting properties. Cosphaderm GeMix combines the additional antimicrobial properties of both ingredients in one raw material. Glyceryl caprylate provides a strong antimicrobial efficiency against bacteria and yeasts whereas glyceryl undecylenate shows great efficiency against gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and molds. Combination of both ingredients leads to full spectrum microbial protection in a pH range from 3.5 to 7.5.

Cosphaderm® GMUD is made from natural undecylenic acid linked to plant-based glycerol. It is a natural multifunctional compound with emollient, emulsifying and skin conditioning properties. Additionally, it can support antimicrobial product protection approaches with its mild surface activity and corresponding disruption of the microorganism’s membrane integrity. As an antimicrobial multifunctional, it is especially effective against yeasts and molds.
