The preservative is solvent free, formaldehyde free and VOC free and blends a strong algaecide with fungicides to enhance long term dry-film protection in formulated products. For use in algal and fungal protection in paints & stains, masonry coatings, roof coatings, caulks & sealants, stucco and joint cements.

PREVENTOL BIT 20 N is aqueous-glycolic solution of 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). For the preservation of aqueous coatings, polymer dispersions, plasters, synthetic adhesives, pigment slurries, concrete additives or cleaners and detergents. The product has a broad spectrum of activity covering bacteria, mould and yeasts.
