Sodium Metal Pvt. Ltd. is a well-established manufacturer of a large number of organic molecules that find applications as pharmaceutical intermediates, as fragrance molecules, and in the Fine & Specialty Chemical fields. These range from naphthalene compounds (like 2-acetyl-6-methoxynaphthalene, 2-acetonaphthone & 2-methoxynaphthalene) to acetophenones (such as 2,4-dichloroacetophenone & 4-methylacetophenone) and other fine & specialty chemicals (including 4-methylcatechol, 6-ethyltetralin, verdyl acetate & verdyl propionate). SMPL’s strength is in Friedel-Crafts chemistry, but their expertise extends to a variety of reaction capabilities, such as alkoxylation, demethylation, condensation, reduction and esterification. Their multi-purpose facility is designed to be modular and flexible, which allows for regular production to be carried out at scales ranging from a few kilos per month to hundreds of tonnes per month, and which enables the production of specific molecules to be rapidly scaled as per demand. The facility is also adept at, and licensed to be, handling a large variety of hazardous materials solvents and effluents, like methanol, concentrated acid, or aluminium chloride wastewater.
