LUCAROTIN 1 CWD/Y

Lucarotin® 1 CWD/Y is a 1% microencapsulated beta-carotene powder, spray-dried and cold-water dispersible. It is primarily used for yellow coloring in beverages, foods like ice cream and candies, and dry mixes such as instant drinks. Additionally, it serves as a source of provitamin A in dietary supplements, including hard shell capsules.

LUCAROTIN® 30 SUN

Lucarotin® 30 SUN is a 30% beta-carotene dispersion in sunflower oil, ideal for dietary supplements such as soft gel capsules and for fortifying foods like oils and margarine. It is also used in color emulsions for enhanced visual appeal in food products.

DL-ALPHA TOCOPHEROL

DL-alpha-tocopherol is used as an antioxidant to increase the stability of fats (oils, margarine, baking and frying fats, fish oil) and fatty products (readymade desserts containing cream, soup powders, cocoa, dietetic and frozen products, potato crisps, essences and chewing gum) and to protect vitamin A and carotene in oils and other food products. Regular quantities are between 200 and 500mg/kg of fat; up to 1,000 mg/kg is used in essences and chewing gum. By adding tocopherol, the shelf life of meat products sensitive to oxidation (particularly pork and turkey) can be improved. The acetate is more stable and, therefore, preferred for fortifying food products with vitamin E.
