TEXIPOL® 63-237 is a multifunctional inverse emulsion thickener developed specifically for the pigment printing of textiles. It provides an outstanding print definition as well as superb fastness properties, color yield, brightness, and excellent softness of handle. It may be used on a variety of textile substrates including 100% cotton, polyester, poly-cotton, and other synthetic fibers and blends. It is normally used at 3.0-4.0% of the print paste and the standard addition level is 3.5%. It is compatible with all the typical print paste ingredients including preservatives, humectants, antifoams, softeners, binders, and cross-linking additives. TEXIPOL® 63-237 is suitable for use on hand screens, rotary and flat-bed printing machines. It has also found use as an effective thickener in a variety of other applications for textile coatings and adhesives as well as for general thickening in other industries.
TEXIPOL®63-202 is an inverse emulsion thickener that imparts pseudoplastic rheology to aqueous-based compositions. TEXIPOL 63-202 can be used to thicken a wide variety of aqueous binder systems including; PVA, VAE, SBR, PVdC, and acrylic and styrene-acrylic copolymers. It has been used in various adhesive, sealant, and coating formulations. It can thicken systems as low as pH 5 but is most efficient at pH>7. Typical thickener dosages are probably 0.5-2.0%, though this is system-dependent and higher paste viscosities may require higher addition levels.
TEXICRYL® 13-814 is a styrene acrylic copolymer aqueous dispersion with excellent flexibility and adhesion properties. TEXICRYL 13-814 is suitable for use as the main binder in flexo or gravure inks and has good clarity so is suitable for offset overprint.
TEXICRYL® 13-400 is a cationic emulsion binder specially designed for textile applications using processes like pigment dyeing, mordant and printing.
