A-C 629 is a low density Oxidized Polyethylene (LDOxPE) homopolymer in prill form for use in solvent borne coatings as a rheological aid. It also finds use as a metal release agent in PVC. It can also be atmospherically emulsified for use in aqueous applications, such as textiles, lubricants, coatings and inks, to lower the COF and provide surface properties such as mar & abrasion resistance and increased slip.

ACumist C-5 is medium particle size micronized Polyethylene Homopolymer for use in solvent borne coatings and solvent based flexographic inks. As with all ACumist products, it is insoluble in solvents and UV based monomers and oligomers at room temperature. Best suited goroffset inks, can coatings, and all thin film solvent based coatings.

A-C 316 is a hard, high drop point, high density, oxidized polyethylene (HDOxPEs) homopolymer powder (granule) for use in water borne coatings and inks, overprint varnishes, polishes and textiles to improve surface properties including mar and abrasion resistance by lowering the coefficient of friction. In textiles, this can help improve sewability and fabric cutting, helping to extend cutting machine lifetime. Its acid number of 16 allows it to be emulsified into water. Can also provide heat resistance to hot melt adhesives (HMAs). In addition, may be used as a metal release agent for PVC processing and is a fusion control for PVC formulations. It will not affect clarity in transparent PVC applications. Very effective for use in processing PVC regrind.

A-C® 617A is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymer in a powdered form.

 

A-C® 617A displays the function in improving surface properties such as rub, mar & abrasion resistance, by lowering the COF. It is also used as a gellant for hydrocarbon oils, a paraffin crystal nucleator in wax blends such as candles, and a viscosity diluent in HMAs.

 

A-C® 617A can also be partially substituted for FT (Fisher Tropsch) Wax in adhesive applications without detracting from formulation properties. In PVC applications it finds use as an external lubricant.
