Deuterol 201 E is a defoaming dispersing agent for fillers and pigments in water soluble and water miscible primers and lacquers. The wetting effect of Deuterol 201 E in primers and one-coat lacquers, which are applied to badly degreased metal substrates, considerably improves the adhesion of the coating film to the metal substrate. The product also shows a defoaming effect in the manufacture as well in the processing of water dilutable systems.
Because of its cationic character and the extremely high polarity of Deuteron LE 100 LV, the electrical resistance is reduced considerably – even when using small quantities.
Deuteron LE 100 LV is delivered with an active content of 100 %. The product is free of solvent and of low viscosity. It is characterized by ease of handling. Deuteron LE 100 LV can be processed at room temperature and below without melting or producing a master batch. That is why the product is particularly suitable for solvent free systems.
Deuteron LE 100 LV can be used (among others) in PUR-foams (production of shoe-soles), UV- or electron-beam curing screen inks to avoid electrostatic charge.
Because of its cationic character and the extreme polarity of Deuteron LE 80, the electric resistance of organic solvents and their mixtures is considerably reduced – even when using small quantities.
Deuteron LE 80 is soluble in all common lacquer solvent mixtures, sometimes being slightly cloudy.
Deuteron LE 80 can be used in air-drying primers and coatings, baking enamels, 2-compound systems and wood finishes.
