DOWSIL™  Z-6689 is an active component for formulating penetrating water repellent treatments. DOWSIL™  Z-6689 offers the benefits of being dilutable in organic solvent, produce a hydrophobic treatment, UV stable, excellent performance at low active solids levels & reduction in water absorption reduces cracking and spalling due to freeze-thaw and efflorescence, thereby increasing the life of the substrate and more. DOWSIL™  Z-6689 is suitable to use on neutral and alkaline mineral substrates such as brick, sandstone, concrete and mortar that require water repellency.

DOWSIL™  HV496 EMULSION is a high molecular weight, silanol functional siloxane polymer emulsion with low cyclic siloxane content. DOWSIL™  HV496 EMULSION display the benefits of improved tear strength on woven fabric, improved crease resistance, improved abrasion resistance, improved stretch recovery of knitted garments, fabric whiteness retention, excellent thermal stability, easy application, excellent dilution stability and great surface wetting characteristics. DOWSIL™  HV496 EMULSION is great to use in textiles, leather, auto/home care and mineral wool/fiberglass hydrophobing applications.

DOWSIL™  IE-6683 is an is a 40% active, water-dilutable silicone emulsion use as a water repellent for porous construction materials. DOWSIL™  IE-6683 displays the benefits of fast beading action, low VOC, easy to use and environmentally friendly & highly dilutable. DOWSIL™  IE-6683 is great to use as an ingredient in the formulation of water-repellent, water-based primers, paints and coatings. 

DOWSIL™ 87 ADDITIVE is a silane based additive made from 40% actives silane based emulsion. 

DOWSIL™ 87 ADDITIVE is compatible with acrylic resins & solvent and APEO free. 

DOWSIL™ 87 ADDITIVE is commonly used in waterborne acrylic formulations to improve water repellency and hydrophobing waterborne decorative coating, also being used in metal protective coatings (Acrylic, styrene acrylic, vinyl acrylics) with minimal effect on water vapor permeability and high dirt pickup resistance.
