Polyethylene Glycol PEG400 is non-toxic, odorless, neutral, non-volatile, and non-irritating as a solvent and cosolvent. PEG400 is widely compatible with various solvents and recommended as a formulation aid and chemical intermediate for use in cosmetic formulations, water soluble lubricants, mold release agents, antistatic agents, humectants, plasticizers, carriers for dyes, wood treatment, as co-solvent and solubilizing aid in detergent and agrochemical formulations and synthesis of esters. PEG400 shows good lubricity and is recommended as a component in lubricants for the textile and rubber industries. PEG400 reacts with fatty acids to form esters and dibasic acids to form polyester-based lubricants and may be used as an intermediate to form water dispersible resins for coating applications.

Luna PEG-8000 is a high molecular weight polyethylene glycol. This solid, water-soluble polymer is derived from ethylene oxide. It is a non-ionic, inert, and stable material. Due to its high molecular weight, Luna PEG-8000 is commonly used as a binder, thickener, plasticizer, lubricant, or dispersant in industrial or personal care applications.

Luna PEG-3350 is a high molecular weight polyethylene glycol. This solid, water-soluble polymer is derived from ethylene oxide. It is a non-ionic, inert, and stable material used across multiple industries, including personal care and industrial formulations. Luna PEG-3350 acts as a humectant, plasticizer, dispersant, mold release agent and lubricant, providing viscosity modification, moisture retention, and formulation stability.
