PLASTOLYN™ 290 HYDROCARBON RESIN is a versatile, aromatic, water-white, very high softening point resin for use in polymer modification, adhesives, overprint lacquers, coatings and a variety of other applications. Recommended as a flow modifier in such polymers as polyvinylchloride (PVC), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and styrenic block copolymers. Its water white color and good economy, combined with superior heat and ultraviolet light (UV) stability compared with conventional C9 hydrocarbon resins, provide formulators a new level of quality without sacrificing competitiveness.

PVA BP-20 is a water soluble and biodegradable synthetic polymer. It is a dry solid, and is available in granule and powdered forms, grades include both fully hydrolyzed and partially hydrolyzed. PVA BP-20 offers a good affinity and cohesion power to hydrophobic fiber, Good compatibility with oiling agent, Good solution viscosity stability & Better protective colloid property than BF type PVA. Luna-sil DAMO-T is a specialised grade of diaminomethoxysilane, formulated to provide excellent adhesion and coupling of organic polymers with inorganic fillers. Luna-sil DAMO-T is most commonly used in the manufacture of sealants, inks, paints and composites.

MINEX® ST OV100 (particle size 7) is a hydrophobic, surface-treated nepheline syenite (NS) designed for enhanced performance in coatings and adhesives. This grade is easily dispersed in a wide range of reactive solvent-borne and 100% solids resin systems. It is particularly effective in polyurea resin and coating systems where variable surface moisture can lead to film defects. MINEX ST OV100 is engineered to deliver superior performance in polyurethane, polyaspartic, polyester, and silicone resin systems. MINEX® ST is available in three particle sizes—4, 7, and 10—and two functional treatments: A100 and OV100. It offers similar optics, handling, gloss, and color acceptance as the equivalent MINEX grades, while delivering improved dispersion and higher loading capacity in select systems—enabling cost savings and reduced VOC content.

MINEX® ST micronized functional fillers and extenders are proven performance enhancers across a broad range of paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and inks. Select surface treatments were developed to further enhance chemical and stain resistance, washability, adhesion, weatherability, optical clarity, color retention in tinted systems, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength—by compatibilizing the mineral surface with the host binder systems and reactive chemistries.

MINEX and MINEX ST functional fillers are produced from nepheline syenite—a naturally occurring, silica-deficient, sodium-potassium alumina silicate. Automated scanning electron microscopy confirms they contain less than 0.1% crystalline silica, with no detectable free crystalline silica in the mineral complex. All MINEX ST grades are processed and sized in strict adherence to Covia’s QIPSM quality assurance programs, ensuring consistently uniform chemistries, tight particle size distributions, and controlled top sizes for reliable performance.
