Deuteron VT 910 is a natural biopolymer based on polysaccharides, with delayed hydration properties due to glyoxal surface treatment, making it easy to use and disperse. It provides strong structural viscosity that reduces under shear force and quickly returns to its base viscosity, helping prevent pigment settling and liquid separation during storage. Stable in anionic and non-ionic systems, Deuteron VT 910 works well across a wide temperature and pH range but may depolymerize at pH levels below 2 or above 12. It is compatible with most binders and thickeners used in the coatings industry.

DEUTERON MK products are micronized duromeric plastic powders based on PMU (Polymethyl urea). The unique synthesis of Deuteron MK matting agents leads to highly amorphous particle structures with a comparably high surface area (BET) – this property makes them excellent matting agents.

DEUTERON LE 15P is a quaternary ammonium salt absorbed onto a SiO2 carrier. The product is a cationic surfactant and acts as an antistatic agent in various applications. Its main working mechanism is based on surface migration and orientation.

Deuteron MM 823 has been developed for use in solvent-based and solvent-free, non-aqueous coating systems, printing inks and powder coatings. The presence of PTFE in Deuteron MM 823 generally spoils wetting when the product is used in water.

 

Deuteron MM 823 imparts coatings a high resistance to metal marking and abrasion. Scratch resistance will be improved. The product is non thermoplastic. Its use imparts good blocking stability. Increased dosage interferes with the coating‘s gloss.
