Deuteron LE 151 is designed to be used as an antistatic agent for polyurethane compounds based on polyester and polyether. These compounds are used in the shoe industry to produce soles with antistatic properties. Deuteron LE 151 is preferred in systems which already contain MEG as a cross-linking component.
Deuteron LE 151 is of high polarity and therefore reduces the electrical resistance of polyurethane-foams considerably – even when using small quantities.
Because of its cationic character and the extremely high polarity of Deuteron LE 512, the electrical resistance is reduced considerably – even when using small quantities.
Deuteron LE 512 is a solid product with an active content of 100 %. Therefore the product is especially suitable in solvent free systems. Deuteron LE 512 is soluble in water and alcohol but insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons.
The suitability of Deuteron LE 512 in different systems has to be determined by the user. The product is, for example, very effective in PU-systems. However, products of this chemical family are practically ineffective in epoxy systems.
Deuteron LE 829 is designed to be used as an antistatic agent for polyurethane compounds based on polyester and polyether. These compounds are used in the production of soles with antistatic character as required by EN 344 or for special shoes for use in computing and medical areas.
Deuteron LE 829 is of high polarity and thus noticeably reduces the electrical resistance of polyurethane-foams, even when used in small quantities.
