HALOX® CW-22/221 is white, nonrefractive, corrosion inhibiting pigments used in protective coating systems. They are not recommended for use in immersion or semi-immersion environments. HALOX® CW-22/221 is recommended for use in primer systems based on traditional solvent alkyd technology. It can effectively be formulated into such resins as medium and long-oil alkyds. HALOX® CW-22/221 is compliant to ASTM D 4288-83, Specification for Calcium Borosilicate Pigment Type 1, Class A. HALOX® CW-22/221 recommended loading levels range from 9-15% based on total formula weight with PVC levels in the range of 42-47%.

HALOX® 520 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for use in water-borne and solvent-borne coatings systems. It contains dual functionality as a corrosion inhibitor and an adhesion promoter. HALOX® 520 may be used in waterborne formulations such as 2 pack epoxy systems, 1 and 2 pack polyurethanes, acrylics (especially epoxy/amine-functionalized), and hybrid systems and may also be used as a metal pretreatment additive. Recommended concentrations range from 0.5-1.5% based on total formulation solids. The amount of HALOX® 520 required for optimum performance should be determined in trials over the recommended concentration range.

HALOX® CZ-170 is a white, nonrefractive, corrosion and tannin stain inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. HALOX® CZ-170 is an effective replacement for zinc oxide. HALOX® CZ-170 can also be used in high gloss (+75 gloss units at 60°) and thin film. Application: Recommended loading levels range from 2-5% by total formula weight in multi-substrate waterborne systems. Typical loading ranges are between 0.5-2% by total formula weight in high gloss and thin film systems, for both water and solventborne coatings.

HALOX 700 is a white, non-refractive, corrosion inhibiting pigment used in protective coatings. The combination of zinc and aluminum phosphates provides extended protection in solvent-based and water-based epoxy and urethane coatings. For alkyd and acrylic coatings, HALOX Organic Corrosion Inhibitors are recommended for use in combination with HALOX 700.
