EASTMAN™ CPO 343-3 25% is 26-32 wt. % chlorine and has a Gardner color value of 6 - 7. Chlorinated Polyolefin 343-3 has a good solvent tolerance for a wide range of solvents. EASTMAN™ CAB 500-5 is a cellulose ester with high butyryl content, low hydroxyl content, and medium ASTM(A) viscosity. It offers a wide range of solubility and compatibility. It is tolerant of nonpolar aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. It produces a relatively soft, flexible film requiring little or no plasticizer in many applications. When EASTMAN™ CAB 500-5 is dissolved in appropriate solvents a clear, colorless solution is produced. EASTMAN™ CAB 500-5 is supplied as a dry, white free-flowing powder and is convenient to handle.

EASTMAN™ CPO 343-1 25% has good resistance to high temperatures. It can withstand 110° C for 20 minutes. A thermogravimetric analysis suggests it will withstand appreciable higher temperatures. EASTMAN™ CPO 343-1 25% can be used in architectural coatings, auto OEM, auto plastics, auto refinish, automotive, commercial printing inks, general industrial coatings, graphic arts, protective coatings & truck/bus/RV.

EASTMAN™ 2-ETHYL HEXANOL is a versatile solvent featuring excellent reactivity as a chemical intermediate. It serves as a chain terminator in synthesizing condensation polymers and as an intermediate for plasticizers. EASTMAN™ 2-ETHYL HEXANOL has low volatility and enhances the flow and gloss of baking enamels. It is also used as a dispersing agent for pigment pastes. EASTMAN™ 2-ETHYL HEXANOL complies with REACH.
