HALOX® FLASH-X® 330

HALOX® FLASH-X® 330 is an effective, nitrite-free, liquid additive used in the manufacture of waterborne protective coatings for inhibition of flash rust and in-can rusting and has demonstrated excellent flash rust inhibitive performance on a variety of metal substrates without the use of nitrites.
HALOX® 515 LFG

HALOX® 515 LFG is a low-freeze grade liquid organic corrosion inhibitor for high gloss (direct to metal) coating systems. HALOX® 515 LFG will provide cost-effective flash rust protections and long-term corrosion protection when used as recommended. HALOX® 515 LFG is also effective for thin film applications. Recommended loading levels range from 1-3% based on total formula weight. HALOX® 515 LFG can easily and effectively be post added or added in the letdown stage of any coating system, however, as with any additive, compatibility should be checked prior to use.
HALOX® 570 LS

HALOX® 570 LS is a ready-to-use liquid version of our popular organic corrosion inhibitor HALOX® 570 which requires no dilution. HALOX® 570 LS is designed for use in waterborne industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces and is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in formulations based on waterborne acrylics, epoxy esters, 2 component epoxy, waterreducible alkyds, and water-based polyurethanes. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in both waterborne primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings HALOX® 570 LS has minimal effect on gloss reduction. Recommended loading levels range from 1-3% based on total formula weight.
HALOX® 520

HALOX® 520 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for use in water-borne and solvent-borne coatings systems. It contains dual functionality as a corrosion inhibitor and an adhesion promoter. HALOX® 520 may be used in waterborne formulations such as 2 pack epoxy systems, 1 and 2 pack polyurethanes, acrylics (especially epoxy/amine-functionalized), and hybrid systems and may also be used as a metal pretreatment additive. Recommended concentrations range from 0.5-1.5% based on total formulation solids. The amount of HALOX® 520 required for optimum performance should be determined in trials over the recommended concentration range.
