VULCAN® XC500 conductive carbon black is Cabot’s flagship product from our XC-family of conductive carbon blacks. VULCAN XC500 conductive carbon black offers excellent conductivity, cleanliness, and consistency while dispersing easily into the polymer, ensuring an easy-to-process compound. This combination of cleanliness, conductivity, and processability delivers excellent surface smoothness, offering strong performance in both medium voltage (MV) and high voltage (HV) semicon shields for power cables. In addition, it can enable extended screen pack life during compounding due to its high cleanliness, thereby enhancing compounding efficiency and effectiveness.

CHLORINATED PARAFFIN 70 is a solid powder and used as plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride, as extreme-pressure additives. CHLORINATED PARAFFIN 70 is particularly suitable for use with alkyd resins. It is used in a variety of paint, coatings & adhesives applications including chlorinated rubber non-skid paints, and intumescent flame retardant paints, CP 70 is an excellent low-cost halogen source for flame retarding textiles and fabrics. The products are essentially non-toxic and provide good durability, stability & impart water resistance.
