LANXESS Biocides: Advanced Microbial Protection for High-Performance Coatings

Preventol AM 63-D is an aqueous dispersion of Diuron, BCM and IPBC. The preservative is solvent free, formaldehyde free and VOC free and blends a strong algaecide with fungicides to enhance long term dry-film protection in formulated products. For use in algal and fungal protection in paints & stains, masonry coatings, roof coatings, caulks & sealants, stucco and joint cements.

Preventol M 78-D is a high-performance, VOC-free fungicidal preservative, combining Carbendazim and IPBC for effective long-term dry-film protection in coatings, adhesives, and building materials. Designed for low-VOC applications, it ensures strong fungal resistance in interior and exterior formulations.

PREVENTOL MP 400-D is used for the fungal protection in paints and coatings, stains, metalworking fluids, paper coatings, plastics and plastic coatings, textile coatings, canvas and cordage, inks, pigment dispersions, adhesives, building materials, caulks, patching compound (joint compound), sealants, grouts, and wood preservation.

PREVENTOL® MP 100 Preservative is a high-purity fungicide containing approximately 98% 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC). This light yellow to white powder is particularly effective against blue-stain fungi and mold, making it suitable for preserving paints, stains, latex emulsions, metalworking fluids, paper coatings, plastics, textile coatings, inks, wood preservatives, adhesives, caulks, sealants, and building materials.

Preventol BIT 20D is for the preservation of VOC-free aqueous technical preparations such as polymer dispersions, aqueous coatings, plaster or synthetic adhesives.

PREVENTOL BIT 20 N is aqueous-glycolic solution of 1,2-Benzisothiazolin-3-one (BIT). For the preservation of aqueous coatings, polymer dispersions, plasters, synthetic adhesives, pigment slurries, concrete additives or cleaners and detergents. The product has a broad spectrum of activity covering bacteria, mould and yeasts.

ROCIMA BT 2S A liquid preservative containing 1,2 Benzothiazolin-3-one as the active ingredient BIT. The product inhibits and controls bacterial growth in industrial aqueous compositions such as paints and coatings, inks and fountain solutions, water based adhesives, polymer latex, oil-in water emulsion, aqueous slurries of pigments, building / construction material, pesticide formulations, seed coating material and specialty pigments.

ROCIMA™ 63 Industrial Microbicide is a dry film preservative designed for use in exterior paints, coatings, and building materials. It contains a combination of three active ingredients that provide exceptional protection against a broad range of fungi and algae, making it ideal for surfaces exposed to airborne particles, soil, and other particulates. ROCIMA™ 63 is a fluid, pumpable dispersion that is easy to handle, meter, and incorporate into aqueous systems. It is registered for use in exterior paints, stains, building materials, stucco, caulks, and sealants.

​Rozone™ 2000 Biocide is a liquid mildewcide for the protection of paint films and coatings. It is a high-performance preservative against the growth of surface molds which also displays excellent activity against algae and bacteria.

Rozone™ 2000 Biocide has a very low water solubility. It has a high resistance to leaching even on weathered surfaces and provides a long-term protection.

Bioban™ O 45 Antimicrobial inhibits the growth of many fungi associated with odors, staining, discoloration, and general biodeteroriation. 

BIOBAN™ BZ Antimicrobial is a highly effective microbicide used as a preservative in various applications, including paints and coatings, polymer emulsions, mineral slurries, pigment dispersions, inks, fountain solutions, building materials, and liquid household industrial and janitorial products. It provides broad-spectrum protection against both bacteria and fungi and remains stable across a wide range of temperatures and pH levels.

​Kathon™ LX 1.5% is a liquid preservative containing the isothiazolone active ingredient CMIT/MIT. It does not offer dry film protection against fungi or algae.
