Flt-3 Ligand (FLT3L or FLT-3L) is a ligand of class III tyrosine kinase receptor (Flt3) that is mainly expressed on hematopoietic stem cells/progenitor cells. Flt-3 Ligand is related to early hematopoietic regulation. When used in combination with cytokines such as IL-3, IL-6, and SCF, Flt-3 Ligand can exhibit a strong proliferative effect on primitive hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells. In addition, Flt-3 Ligand enhances the expansion of GM-CSF, IL-4, and TNF-alpha-induced DC cells, and exerts anti-tumor effects by promoting the proliferation, differentiation, and maturation of DC cells, NK cells, and cytotoxic T cells (CTLs) in vivo.

Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) is a multifunctional factor secreted by mesenchymal cells. It stimulates the growth of a variety of epithelial, endothelial, and mesenchymal cells, as well as angiogenesis and immunomodulatory activity, and promotes cell proliferation, mobility, and invasion. Mature HGF molecules have a heterodimeric structure consisting of an α chain with a molecular weight of 53.7 KDa and an β chain with a molecular weight of 26 KDa. HGF regulates cell growth, migration, and morphogenesis by activating the tyrosine kinase signaling cascade after binding to the c-Met receptor. HGF plays a central role in angiogenesis, tumorigenesis, and tissue regeneration due to its ability to stimulate mitosis, cell motility, and stromal invasion.

Interleukin-3 (IL-3), also known as a multicolony-stimulating factor, is one of the important members of the interleukin family. It is mainly produced by activated T cells, macrophages, and bone marrow stromal stem cells. IL-3 plays an important role in hematopoietic regulation and immune regulation by binding to its receptor (IL-3R).
IL-3 can not only induce the proliferation and maturation of pluripotent hematopoietic progenitor cells, bone marrow cells, eosinophils, basophilic cells, erythroid cells, and megakaryocytes, but also activate the cytotoxic, bactericidal, and anti-tumor activities of macrophages. Furthermore, IL-3 can also mobilize the response of cells (such as peripheral blood stem cells) to later activated cytokines such as G-CSF, thrombopoietin, and erythropoietin.

VEGF (or VEGF-A) is a disulfide-linked dimeric growth factor, a member of the PDGF family, with an amino acid sequence containing eight cysteine residues that form a conserved disulfide linkage. VEGF is required during embryogenesis to regulate endothelial cell proliferation, migration and survival. In adults, VEGF acts mainly in wound healing and in the female reproductive cycle. Pathologically, it is involved in tumour angiogenesis and vascular leakage.
VEGF is produced by cells such as endothelial cells, macrophages and T cells. At least five isoforms with different amino acid lengths, such as VEGF121, VEGF145, VEGF165, VEGF185, and VEGF206, are present in the human body due to different shearing of mRNA. Among them, VEGF165 is the most abundant and potent isoform with potent pro-angiogenic effects, stimulating endothelial cell proliferation and survival, promoting angiogenesis and increasing vascular permeability.
