Aqualon EC N-200 PC is an oil/organic solvent dispersible film former and thickener. This thickener and film former is typically used in anhydrous formulations, such as sunscreen oils, make-up removers, and color cosmetics. In color cosmetics formulations, this film former imparts shine, improves wear, and increases color brightness.

BENECEL Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) K100M is a high purity, water-soluble cellulose derivative designed to perform many functions in processed foods - including reversible hot water gelation, water binding and retention, oil barrier formation, thickening, suspending and stabilizing, and film formation.

​Klucel™ hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) is a nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether with a remarkable combination of properties. It combines organic solvent solubility, thermoplasticity and surface activity with the aqueous thickening and stabilizing properties characteristic of other water-soluble cellulose polymers available from Ashland. Klucel HPC films are flexible without plasticizers and non-tacky at high humidity. The wood pulp used in our cellulose products is sourced from suppliers who have implemented zero deforestation business practices, adhering to standards set forth by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), by the Program for the Endorsement Certification (PEFC.), or both. Our cotton linters are sourced from suppliers who have received third party certifications including the Global Recycled Standard (GRS 4.0) and SCS Recycled Content Standard, certifying that their cotton linters are 100% recycled content.

NATRATHIX BIO CELLULOSE is a natural-derived, non-GMO and biodegradable thickener and emulsion stabiliser for skin and sun care applications from Ashland. Natrathix Bio Cellulose is different than traditional cellulose gum in its ability to deliver viscosity and in another important way: suspension capability! Compared to most common natural options, Natrathix Bio cellulose delivers a pleasant, desirable skin feel adn improved texture, offering an alternative to carbomers for a range of end product formulations.

NATROSOL 250 HBR is a water soluble non-ionic hydroxyethylcellulose. It is used as a thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier.

RAPITHIX A 100 polymer by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a rheology modifier and emollient-based dispersant. It provides soft & smooth feel, formulation flexibility and high solid content for higher efficiency. It is easy to use, shear-tolerant and effective at low usage levels. Suitable for use in cold-mix processes and can be post-added to adjust viscosity after emulsion formation and cooling.

ISP - STABILEZE QM polymer by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a rheology modifier. It is based on methylvinylether/maleic anhydride and delivers exceptional thickening, suspending and stabilizing capability in aqueous and non-aqueous systems, even at low use levels or low pH. It disperses easily in water and forms clear, aqueous gels. Its shear-thinning properties allow strong gels with quick break for processing, spreading and dispensing. Moreover, it formulates into clear products and is effective over wide pH range. It imparts exceptional skin feel and stability to emulsions. It can create sprayable polyelectrolyte matrix when formulated with linear, high molecular weight cationic or pseudocationic polymers. It is compatible with a wide range of ingredients including polyquaterniums and has limited compatibility with salts & some anionic surfactants.

ULTRATHIX P-100 polymer thickener is a multi-functional rheology modifier. This thickener allows formulators to create quick-break textures due to its shear-thinning rheology and refreshing sensory perception. In skin care formulas, this thickener offers emulsion stabilization, reduces tack, and improves aethetics of hydroalcoholic sprays, and enhances skin feel properites. The unique ability of this thickener to supend pigments, especially titanium dioxide, makes it ideal to use in foundations, mascaras and other color and sunscreen applications to enhance stability and esthtetics.
