LUNA® PTSI is used in the formulation of polyurethane products as a reactive additive with low viscosity. LUNA® PTSI prevents moisture related problems by reacting with trace moisture. Excess water reacts with LUNA® PTSI towards the corresponding carbamic acid, which undergoes immediate decomposition to form carbon dioxide and the relatively inert p- toluenesulfonamide, which is commonly used as a plasticizer. LUNA-TEX OBR is an optical brightener, specifically developed for roadmarking paints, whether they be hot-melt, 2K or 1K coating systems. It is odourless, hard to dissolve in water, but soluble in paraffinics, mineral oils, waxes and common organic solvents. Recommended dosage is 0.001-0.02% w/w of paint material.
