Cluster dextrin®, sometimes known as Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin (HBCD), is a new advanced breed of maltodextrin. Cluster Dextrin differs from other high GI carbohydrates like Dextrose and Maltodextrin as it provides a sustained release of energy as opposed to a sudden spike in blood sugar and large insulin response. Cluster dextrin has a high molecular weight, narrow weight distribution, is soluble, and has an osmotic pressure near zero. In basic terms, Cluster Dextrin passes through your stomach faster than other carbohydrate supplements, making it more readily available for your body to burn as energy.

PREGEL STARCH - Corn starch and Pregelatinized starch can be used in tablet and capsules to improve flowability, enhance disintegration and improve hardness. It can be as free flowing low dust excipient with disintegration and dissolution properties independent of medium pH, which helps promote deagreggatioon of the powder mass into primary drug particles and speeds up the dissolution rate of the drug substance, providing rapid disintegration across the pH range present in the human digestive track. Pregel starch acts as a compression aid, diluent and disintegrant, which allows for robust but simple capsule and directly compressible tablet formulations.

CALCIUM SULPHATE DIHYDRATE is source of calcium in food supplements. Used as pH regulator, hardness regulator, yeast agent, nutritional supplement, texture and flavor enhancer in food production. Human studies indicate that the bioavailability of calcium from calcium sulphate in mineral waters is comparable to that from milk.

CALCIUM PHOSPHATE DIBASIC Dihydrate (not anhydrous) : Used as an excipient as a source of calcium and phosphorous in nutritional/dietary supplements.It is used particularly in the nutrition/health food sectors(prepared breakfast,dog treats,enriched flour,etc). This item in used in toothpaste and dentifrice formulations for its abrasive properties.
