SODIUM SACCHARINE A-1 USP/BP/FCC/JP is an artificial sweetener with effectively no food energy. It is about 300–400 times as sweet as sucrose but has a bitter or metallic aftertaste, especially at high concentrations. Saccharin is used to sweeten products such as drinks, candies, cookies, and medicines.

SODIUM STARCH GLYCOLATE (TYPE A) USP/JP/NF/EP is used as a pharmaceutical grade dissolution excipient for tablets and capsules. Sodium starch glycolate absorbs water rapidly, resulting in swelling which leads to rapid disintegration of tablets and granules. It is used as a disintegrant, a suspending agent and as a gelling agent.

LIGAMED SA-2-V STEARIC ACID is high-quality pharmaceutical stearic acids. There are some special pharmaceutical formulations, including components, which are incompatible with magnesium stearate. For these special formulations stearic acid can be used as lubricant. This product is a very fine grade of a vegetable-based stearic acid with a very high purity.
