FEF® CETYL TRIMETHYL AMMONIUM BROMIDE (CTAB) can be used for several purposes in the pharma industry. As a pharmaceutical ingredient, it is an antiseptic agent with various antibacterial, antifungal and other antimicrobial properties. It is used in various products such as throat lozenges and antiseptic topical gels and creams for a range of purposes. As a processing aid or auxiliary, it can be used in the downstream vaccine manufacturing process, typically for both bacterial polysaccharide vaccines and viral vaccines (e.g. influenza).

Octoxynol 9 is an anhydrous liquid mixture consisting chiefly of mono[p-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)] phenyl ethers of polyethylene glycols, corresponding to: (CH3 )3C(CH2 )C(CH3 )2C6H4 (OCH2CH2 ) n OH in which the average value of n is about 9. It contains NLT 90.0% and NMT 110.0% of Octoxynol 9.

L-Tyrosine, characterized by the chemical structure C9H11NO3, conforms to the quality standard USP32. It presents as a white crystalline powder with an assay (on dried basis) between 98.5% and 101.5%.

Glycine, meeting the USP40 quality standard, boasts an assay range of 98.5% to 101.5% (C2H5NO2).
