LIDOCAINE HCL The hydrochloride salt from of lidocaine, an aminoethylamide and a prototypical member of the amide class anesthetics. Lidocaine interacts with voltage-gated Na+ channels in the nerve cell membrane and blocks the transient increase in permeability of excitable membranes to Na+.

MOEHS LIDOCAINE BASE is a local anesthetic used to prevent and treat pain, for example, during surgical or diagnostic procedures. It is also used for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Lidocaine can be administered orally, in topical applications or as a solution for injection.

Procaine Hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt form of procaine, a benzoic acid derivative with local anesthetic and antiarrhythmic properties. Procaine binds to and inhibits voltage-gated sodium channels, thereby inhibiting the ionic flux required for the initiation and conduction of impulses. In addition, this agent increases electrical excitation threshold, reduces rate of rise of action potential and slows nerve impulse propagation thereby causing loss of sensation.
