RHEOBYK-7590 PC is a natural castor oil derivative for use in cosmetic and personal care applications. It is a rheological additive for the oil phase which provides excellent thickening and a high degree of thixotropy. RHEOBYK 7590 PC stabilizes pigments in suspension and improves the thermal stability of waxy formulations. It has a very soft skin-feel and is translucent when dissolved, which results in appealing sensory properties. RHEOBYK-7590 PC is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and also COSMOS approved.

Vegan, powdered rheology additive based on organically modified natural bentonite (organophilic phyllosilicate) for use in personal care applications to increase viscosity, provide thixotropic flow behavior and suspend pigments and particles in medium to high polar solvents

LAPONITE XLG XR LAPONITE-XLG XR is a synthetic layered silicate with low heavy metal content. It is insoluble in water but hydrates and swells to give clear and colourless colloidal dispersions in water or aqueous solutions of alcohols. At concentrations of 2 % or greater in water, highly thixotropic gels are obtained. The unique shear thinning and thixotropic rheology of LAPONITE-XLG XR improves the skin feel of personal care products. Formulations will have a light, non-sticky texture. LAPONITE-XLG XR enhances the stability of formulations and keeps particles, pigments or solid actives suspended; it is a very effective agent for stabilizing surfactant-free o/w emulsions. LAPONITE-XLG XR has been sterilized by gamma irradiation.
