The refined Murumuru butter is a butter issued from the fruit of Amazonian Murumuru tree. It was obtained through the pressing of the seed fruit, harvested by local people from the north of Brazil. It is riched in fatty acids (tocopherols, provitamin E, lauric acid, myristic acid) wich make it a good ingredient to fight against dry skin and hair damaged. With a melting point around 30-35°C, this butter is the perfect match to be used in lotions, creams, soaps, hair conditioners and other cosmetics products to brings sensorial experience as it has an excellent moisturizing potential, high spreadability and low stickiness. In addition, it delivers sensory aspects similar to those of silicones, being able to deliver the same soft and smooth touch as some elastomers without occlusion effect.
